Corinne has a Masters degree in English literature and another Masters in Marketing and Business Administration. Benoit has an Engineering degree in water treatment, and a Masters degree in Marketing.
We spent most of our studies overseas. This experience of studying abroad certainly helped us to develop a taste for the contact with others and the exchanges between different cultures, unless it was something written in our genes. We actually met each other in Australia, where we spent more than a year together.
At the end of our studies, we decided to leave France for a trip around the world. You can check it out on:

This trip around the world must be one of the best experiences we had in our lives, and certainly one of the most important too. This year of traveling, meeting new people every day, from every where, being welcomed by people who were proud to share with us their own experience of life, helped us to realize what we wanted to do with our lives, what we were good at naturally, and what was important to us. This is how we came up with the idea of opening our house to foreign visitors, to share our day to day life style and show them the beautiful aspects of our country that we enjoy so much every day.

Benoit grew up in this part of France and being a competitor in running and mountain bike riding, he knows the hills at the back of his village pretty well. No matter how many hours he has spent on them and how many more he will, he just loves them.
Corinne grew up on a French island, “l’ile de La Réunion” (near Madagascar), which is a beautiful island, paradise for spices and exotic meals! Through all the years spent with her family, Corinne has developed a real passion for cooking, something that she must have inherited from her mum and her grandmother who are from Brittany (West of France).
At last, as we are two little frogs, we have experienced the French culture all our lives (including walking and cooking ; ).

Other references:

Benoit graduated from the “Département de la Jeunesse et des Sports” and has an « AMM » degree: diplôme d’Accompagnateur Moyenne Montagne. This means that he is fully qualified to be in charge of a group of people to go walking in the mountains. He also has a degree in camp organization/entertainment, meaning that he has some experience to entertain groups. Moreover, Benoit’s dad, who has a few extra years of life experience, is his personal advisor concerning the wine you will drink during your stay with us ; )
Corinne has followed some training programs in French cuisine, and always benefits from the support and experience of her mum and…her mother in law ; ). She is also a good gardener and depending on the season, the fresh herbs you will use for the cooking class will come from her own little garden.
