Our table d'hôte diner

The menu:

Corinne always tries to make everything herself, from the small toasts of the aperitif to the desert and the "petit-fours" that come with the coffee. Usually each menu includes the aperitif (she makes a very nice orange wine) with some toasts, a main dish, a platter of cheeses, a desert and a coffee or some herbal tea. The menu we propose varies between 24 to 34, according to what Corinne has decided to cook that day. We try to be as fair as possible depending on if our guests drink alcohol or not, if they eat cheese or not etc.

The wines:

We propose only one sort of wine with the diner, which is the wine of the local vineyard of St Jeannet. We do this for two reasons:
- First because it is a small production and we are keen to encourage local producers.
- ...and secondly because it is very good too!

but above all because this wine is really unique and we will be happy to let you know more about it when you come. It is also possible to visit the cellar and have a little wine sampling among the oak barrels. Georges, the "vigneron", will be happy to let you know more about the particular process he uses (he makes 2 sorts of red, 2 sorts of ros and 2 sorts of white, plus some naturally sweet wine for aperitif or desert). This is also the reason why we sell it the same price we buy it at the vineyard, to encourage the local production and give you the opportunity to discover an exceptional wine at a reasonable price.

Corinne's cuisine:

Corinne will always try to surprise you. However, if there is anything in particular you would like Corinne to cook for you, please don't hesitate to ask (she also cooks Crole food as she grew up and lived in Reunion Island for 17 years). Also, if there is anything you are allergic too, or have a specific diet, or that you simply don't like at all, please advise us as soon as you can.

Our table:

At last, during summer time, between July and August, we regularly have demands from people who don't stay at the Frogs'house. In that case we serve our visitors outside on the terrace and everyone eat separately like in a regular restaurant. If you are keen to have diner only with your friends or your relatives, it is also very understandable so please don't hesitate to let us know which option you would rather choose.

In any case, we always offer only one menu. It is the choice we made to privilege quality over quantity, and we really hope you will enjoy your meal and the moment spent at this occasion.
